Una scoperta inaspettata proprio dietro casa. Una villa siciliana dall’aspetto arabeggiante e dalla storia tetra. Si racconta che appartenuta a un marchese fu venduta e negli anni adibita a ristorante/sala eventi. Sul tetto proprio sopra la porta principale vediamo le decorazioni che rilanciano a un tema alla “ventimila leghe sotto i mari”. Ci viene raccontato, da un uomo che gironzolava nei paraggi col suo cane, che intorno la fine degli anni settanta, durante un ballo fu assassinata una giovane donna. Si nota l’evidente struttura di nuova costruzione che vedeva svilupparsi la zona ristorazione.

An unexpected discovery just behind our house. A Sicilian villa with an Arabian appearance and a gloomy history. It is said that it belonged to a marquis, it was sold and over the years used as a restaurant / event hall. On the ceiling just above the main door, we can see the decorations that recall a “twenty thousand leagues under the sea” theme. A man, who was hanging around with his dog, tells us that during a dance a young woman was murdered around the end of the seventies. We can see the newly built structure where the dining area was developed.
