“Immerso in un giardino di agrumi che lo collega al mare, è una struttura in cui natura e cultura del luogo si fondono, per regalare emozioni uniche e momenti di grande benessere”.

Proprio così, l’Hotel A., costruito a pochi passi da una riserva naturale, negli annunci online risulta ancora aperto ma da anni è abbandonato e versa in uno stato di degrado sconfortante.

Incollato a uno degli scorci più suggestivi della costa orientale della Sicilia, l’hotel è ormai rifugio di ladri e profughi. Proprio in seguito alla cattura di due ladri nel 2017,  sono stati istallati sensori e allarmi che hanno fatto il loro lavoro. Infatti appena abbiamo provato a raggiungere il piano terra sono scattati costringendoci a uscire e terminare l’esplorazione.

That’s true, the Hotel A., close to a nature reserve, in the online ads is still open but it has been abandoned for years and pours into a state of discomfort degradation.

Sticked to one of the most striking views of the east coast of Sicily, the hotel is now a refuge for thieves and refugees. Just after the capture of two thieves in 2017, sensors and alarms were installed and, unfortunately, they did their job. In fact, when we tried to reach the ground floor, they went off, forcing us to exit and finish the exploration.
