Costruito nel 1908 dal Signor Nottebohm, venne abbandonato dopo la seconda guerra mondiale per la caduta in rovina della famiglia. Nel corso della guerra fu abitato abusivamente da una famiglia tedesca. Il castello è stato anche d’ ispirazione a Tim Burton per la produzione di alcuni suoi film. In passato fu protagonista di investigazioni sul paranormale, oggi si presenta in condizioni disastrose e risulta essere inaccessibile, oltre a essere controllato da molte telecamere.

Built in 1908 by Sir Nottebohm, it was abandoned after World War II for the fall of the family. During the war, it was abusively occupied by a German family. The castle was inspired by Tim Burton to produce some of his films. In the past it was purpose of paranormal investigations, today it is in disastrous conditions and it is inaccessible, besides to being controlled by many cameras.
